Please clarify upcoming events

Please clarify whether or not these events will be occurring this month of November, as I have heard and seen different information:

11/12 Hui Makua mtg
11/14 La Hana Makua
11/14 or 15 Gift of Giving at Windward Mall
11/22 Makahiki Maoli Festival at Kapiolani Park

If these are in fact events that need the help and support of the parents, please make sure we all know about them. Please clarify. Mahalo NUI!

Is there a way to link this Hui Makua website with the school website? Since there are calendars (official and current) and announcements on the school website as well. Less confusion and one stop shop to be connected to all info relative to Ke Kula ÿo Kamakau.

Hui Makua: This calendar says 6pm-7:30pm. The flyer says 5:30-7:30. Which is the correct time?

Oct Fall Break: This calendar has Hoi kakou i ke Kula on day 14 of Oct. I think that should be on day 13.

Mahalo for your good questions and pointing out some of our "growing pains". The school site may be linked to this site in the future. The DOE does not allow outside social site like this one without permission and that may take some time.

Our first mtg for Hui Makua is listed as Sept. 23rd. We had set the date as the 24th. Did the date change?

Yes thanks. The fliers began going out today in the parking lot pick up. The rest were folded and are to be disbursed to the keiki tomorrow. One-Call has been set up by Meahilahila and should go out tomorrow. We plan to follow up with reminders next week.
Sorry for the late notice, we really got caught up in the details of organizing the meeting. I think everyone is doing such a great job, I'm really excited about next Thursday!!

Great new format. This will be very useful for all makua to keep up to date with all events. Now the challenge is to get everyone participating.
