TEACHER FURLOUGH SCHEDULE and NEW SCHOOL CALENDAR
This year the school will be taking 5 fourlough days. January 4, 5, and May 25,26, 27. Students will return on January 7th from the Christmas break and will end the school year on May 21, 2010. Please see the updates calendar below. Mahalo for your patience and understanding. We are doing our vest in this volitile funding climate. Note that should the school receive funding from the Govenor to reinstate funding, the school calendar will need to change.

Yesterday's newspaper posted this article about public charter school funding. This is a very accurate picture of our funding! We will need your help this coming legistlative session to fight for our haumana! HA'IKU UPDATE......
We WILL NOT be moving the school to Haiku during the Chirstmas Break. We will stay at the YWCA through the 2009-2010 School Year. We had hoped that construction would have started this past summer. In order for the last phase of construction to begin, the loan needs to be secured. We are working as fast as we can to make this happen. Mahalo for your support and patience!
